Charged per session and non-refundable once paid. If a member can’t attend, please send a replacement, including for illness and urgent personal matters. All prices mentioned are ex VAT prices.

To protect our IP, chefs, food business owners/staff are not permitted. Redistribution of recipes or any parts, especially for blogging, social media, or personal publishing, is strictly prohibited.

We strictly adhere to our schedule. Please arrive 15 minutes early. After a 15-minute grace period, overruns are charged at R1,500 per hour, billed in 20-minute intervals. If your group arrives late, your class may be shortened. Evening classes must conclude at 10pm due to our residential location.

Full payment is due upon confirmation of bookings made at least one month before the class, payable via EFT. A 4% processing fee applies to credit card payments.

Class selection and dietary requirements must be finalised 10 working days before the event. After this, a fee of R500 will be charged to make a change.

Permitted up to ½ bottle of wine or 2 beers per person. Spirit consumption is not allowed. All participants must arrive sober; any intoxicated or excessive alcohol consumption will result in departure requests.

We offer halal and vegan classes upon request; however, we are not certified for these credentials. Halal classes use halal-certified meat and alcohol & pork free recipes but share tools and equipment with non halal classes.

The class may be postponed on short notice due to events, including but not limited to lockdowns, protest action, natural disasters, etc. The client has a 3-month window to reschedule for the studio’s reopening. UFS is not liable for any additional costs incurred by the client, such as travel expenses.
